Working together to build a better community

 

During the 19th and most of the 20th century, this corner lot had a variety of buildings used for stores and for a time, the Village Fire House. By the turn of the Millennium, part of the area was a parking lot, and part empty space. Working together Village Board members, Village Staff, members of the Interlaken Community Action Group and other organizations created the Interlaken Memorial Garden.

The Village of Interlaken has an elected board with the Mayor and four trustees. Each trustee, and the mayor serve as commissioners for the Departments within the village.
